2023– 2024 EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

 

  • P/T ACTING, PIANO & VOCAL INSTRUCTORS

    P/T Private Acting, Piano & Vocal Instructors (Season 2023-2024)


    • Proficient in teaching acting, voice and/or piano through intermediate level.

    • Experience in working with students ages 4-adult a plus.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in content area or High School Diploma with equivalent experience required in field.

    • 5-10 Hours per week Private Teaching

    • Hours: 4:00PM - 8:30PM (Monday - Friday) and/or 10AM - 2PM (Saturday)

    • Must pass a criminal back-round check.

    • Starting Pay: $30-$40 per hour- commensurate with education/experience.


  • AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM INSTRUCTORS

    Performing Arts After School Program Instructors (Season 2023-2024)


    • Proficient in teaching acting and/or musical theatre classes

    • Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience required in field.

    • Experience in working with students ages 6-10 a plus.

    • Position requires picking up students in the company van and transporting to the studio. Candidate must have a good driving record.

    • Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00PM - 6:30PM

    • Must pass a criminal back-round check.

    • Starting Pay: $30-$40/Hour per education/experience.


  • P/T ACTING/THEATRE INSTRUCTORS

    P/T Acting/Theatre Instructors (Season 2023-2024)


    • Proficient in teaching acting and/or musical theatre classes

    • Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience required in field.

    • Experience in working with students ages 6-15 a plus.

    • Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:00PM - 6:30PM and/or Saturdays 10AM-2PM

    • Must pass a criminal back-round check.

    • Starting Pay: $30-$40/Hour per education/experience.


  • P/T CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    P/T Creative Director (Season 2023-2024)


    Creative Director of the Lopez Conservatory Program (LCP) is responsible for the creative and educational aspects of LCP musical theatre productions, as well as the implementation of the school's theatre curriculum, mission, and culture. This includes helping to select and interpret scripts, casting student performers, collaborating with LCP creative staff, ensuring a safe space for students to grow, and overseeing rehearsals and performances. This position is perfect for industry professionals looking to share and grow their passion and knowledge with the next generation. We encourage all those interested to apply.     • Proficient in leading and directing our current Main Stage Productions

    • Experience in collaborating with a creative staff and organize rehearsals.

    • Develop a creative vision for the show and meet deadlines set by the producers.

    • Experience in leading creative staff

    • Required administrative experience a plus.

    • Experience in the technical aspects of theatre making that includes calling tech cues, light design and some set design experience.

    • Experience in working with 10–18-year-olds is a plus

    • Arts education experience a plus

    • Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with equivalent experience required in field.

    • Must pass a criminal background check.

    • Starting Pay: $30-$40 per hour- commensurate with education/experience.

    • Work Schedule: Wednesdays 7PM-9PM, Saturdays 1:30PM-6:30PM as scheduled & Tech week before the show. and required administrative meetings.


  • P/T MUSIC DIRECTOR

    P/T Music Director (Season 2023-2024)

    • Must be able to read music and play the piano at an advance level.

    • Work Schedule: Wednesdays 7PM-9PM, Saturdays 1:30PM-6:30PM as scheduled & Tech week before the show.

  • INTERNS

    Lopez Studios, Inc. is also accepting Middle School & High School interns ages 12-16 who would love to gain experience in the performing arts or earn community/practicum credits. We are an Official Certifying Organization for the Volunteer Service Awards Program! This means that all intern and volunteer service positions will be acknowledged and validated as volunteer/community service hours towards any school requirement!
