FROZEN KIDS

Frozen KIDS is a 30-minute adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, which was based on the 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios film, written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The production features all of the songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT-winner Robert Lopez.

You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production of Frozen KIDS is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for.”

ADMITTANCE INTO THE PROGRAM

We are so excited for your young budding performer to audition for The LCP Kidz Main Stage! Please remember when preparing that while we are auditioning with the show in mind, we are looking for young members who show a desire and willingness to grow in this program. Our decisions will be made based on student’s ability to show base line talent, focus and preparedness.  No prior experience is required. Notifications of entry into the program will be sent out within a week following auditions. Please note that roles for our selected show WILL NOT be allocated until the Kick-Off for the program. As an educational program we prioritize the growth and development of our members and WILL NOT allocate roles until after we have selected members for the program. 

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

* Accepting students ages 6-10

* Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2025 (1:15PM-4:30PM)

* Please prepare ONE MINUTE of a Music Theater song. Songs SHOULD be sung with a track.  We will have a bluetooth speaker available in order to connect mobile devices to play music tracks. A piano will not be available for accompaniment and ACAPELLA AUDITIONS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED!

* Auditions will include a vocal and acting portion. Please be aware that you must stay for the entire group audition in order to be considered for acceptance into the program. 

* Please be prepared to bring a recent Head Shot as well as a recent resume.

BREAK A LEG!

Students will learn the fundamentals of Musical Theatre through the rehearsal process to make for a robust program for our young performers. This will inlcude Acting, Dance and Vocal Training.

Attendance is key to success in the program. Availability and attendance will affect acceptance and role allocation. 

Rehearsals and Training Classes are scheduled on Saturdays 1-4:30PM as well as some select Sundays after 1PM. 

FAMILY VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT

Kidz Main Stage Member Families will be required to volunteer for at least one of our tech areas: 

Front of House

Costumes

Tech Assistance (set building/props)

Marketing/Sponsorships

2025 TUITION: $1600 per student

-4 Monthly Installment Payment Plan Available- ($400/Month)

Tuition includes Rehearsals & Training, Liscensing Fees, Performance Theatre Rental, All Live Performances, Professional Video Coverage Digital Download of shows,  4 Complimentary Tickets to final shows, All Creative & Tech Staff and Cast Shirts.
